Almost a year since Maim Bialik introduced her first Jeopardy! the episode, she becomes sincere in her desire to stay in the department forever.

Ahead of launching a new week of tips and answers, the Big Bang Theory graduate attended the 27th annual Critics’ Choice Awards Sunday night and talked about her future on Jeopardy host looks. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Maim said that her time on the quiz was coming to an end, and if she had her way, she would still be on the podium. According to Call Me Kat star, she will be shooting new episodes this spring. But after that, she doesn’t know what will happen.

– Can we see you as a permanent host? asked the exit. “I would,” Maim replied. “I like to say I spent season after season when I was 13. So I know I’ll be participating until May 6th and hope to find out more by May 6th.”

How dangerous! Fans know that Maim was part of the temporary quiz hosts in the second half of season 37. After her episodes aired from late May to mid-June, she was officially announced as a prime-time host. After a while the danger! Legend of Ken Jennings was announced as her colleague following the sudden departure of former executive producer Mike Richards. For 38 seasons, Maim and Ken have worked together to host the show, and a new permanent host has yet to be named.

Now, the 46-year-old TV presenter is raising her hand to become a part of Jeopardy! full-time staff. But, listening to this latest event, the public expressed their opinion. On the one hand, many fans support Maima to get a job. “I’d really like her to host the show!” one person wrote on YouTube. “SHE HAS MY VOICE,” added another.

On the other hand, some people expect Ken to take on a permanent role. However, that probably won’t happen because of Jeopardy! Champion is already working behind the camera as a consultant producer.

This isn’t the first time Maim has talked about becoming a full-time Jeopardy presenter! When the current season premiered in September, the neurobiologist spoke about how much this opportunity meant to her in an interview with Glamour. Although Maim has admitted that she has a busy schedule with her Fox sitcom Call Me Kat and her mental health podcast Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown, she still aspires to be a part of Jeopardy!

“Having a job [on Fox’s Call Me Kat] hasn’t stopped me from wanting it. But actually, after those two days [filming my episodes with guest presenters], I realized I’ve never wanted anything more than this job,” he said. “I’m not a very difficult person. But it was a case where I intuitively felt that something special had happened in my life. In those two days [the episodes were filmed for two weeks]. I told the crew, “I do not want to go. I do not want to go.”

She added: “There is no other job I prefer. I really like my work in comedy. I love all the other things I do. I love podcasts. But I’ve never had a better job.”
