First, make sure you can access the canvas. To access Canvas, open a browser window and enter in the address bar. Your EUID (Enterprise User ID) is your username when you log in to Canvas. If you need help with your EUID, please contact UNIT Help Desk.

In some cases, your computer may not meet certain technical requirements. You may need to install additional software or change your computer settings to use Canvas. For more information on Canvas technical requirements, visit the CLEAR Canvas technical prerequisites page. Tip: Please share this link with students who may have similar problems.

Section and content review
Make sure all sections you teach are available in Canvas. Sections can be combined or taught separately. All course combination requests must be made prior to the start of the semester. To request section mergers, send an email to [email protected].

If you use course content from another instructor, you must notify [email protected].

Canvas creates courses 90 days before the semester begins. However, you must meet the requirements of at least two students.

Secure Student Access
Students are automatically uploaded one week before the semester begins. However, you will not be able to access the content until the semester begins and it is published. If you want students to be able to access your content before the semester starts, you can change the access dates for your course in Settings.
